This May is National Lupus Awareness Month. There are dozens and dozens of events happening around the country (and the globe) to raise money for local foundations and also raise awareness with the general public.
Note that May 15th, 2015 is Put on Purple for lupus day. Show support by donning purple shirts, blouses, trousers, slacks, socks, suspenders, unmentionables, shoes, ties, hats or whatever you may have in purple. Bonus points if you paint your house or car purple.
